Child Protection and Safeguarding
Every member of staff and the governors at Castle Primary School are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We follow safer recruitment practices and all appointments are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
If you have any concerns or worries about Safeguarding and/or Child Protection, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) - Mrs Kelly Sessions (Deputy Headteacher) or one of our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSL): Mr Chris Cannings (Headteacher) or Zoe Gibson (Pastoral Leader).
There are other agencies who support children, eg Childline, who can be contacted on 0800 11 11 or at https://www.childline.org.uk. At the bottom of each page of our website, you will find a link to CEOPS which is specifically related to concerns and other information about internet safety.
